The reason why we are focusing so much on these three devices is because of the recent brick issues associated with them. Quite a lot of users, when they are trying to unbrick their devices, are being greeted with any of the following error messages: We have already covered how to fix all these issues in our guide: Fix Mi Account Authorization | Unbrick Xiaomi | EDL Mode. But to make full use of that guide, you will have to get the patched Firehose File (prog_emmc_firehose.mbn). At that time of writing, we had uploaded the said files for a few Android devices. But owing to the growing demand of that file for other Android devices as well, we decided to compile this comprehensive post with patched Firehose File for over 600+ Android devices. You may download it from the below section.

Pack 4: Patched Firehose File for Redmi Note 9 Pro

One of the readers has provided the Patched Firehose File for Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Global version. Files have been extracted from joyeuse_global_images_V11.0.5.0.QJZMIXM_20200720.0000.00_10.0_global. The file name are prog_ufs_firehose_sm6250_ddr.elf & prog_ufs_firehose_sm6250_lite.elf. You could download both these files from this link, though we take no guarantee (or credit) of these files whatsoever. Proceed ahead at your own risk. The file was a stock Firehose File for Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro Global version and not the patched one. With that said, the patching work for this device is still doing the rounds. Unfortunately, I cannot say for sure as and when it will be over with. But once that is done, I will upload it in that instance itself. Sorry for the delay and thanks for your patience.

Pack 5: Patched Firehose File for Redmi Note 7

Finally, I was able to grab hold of the patched Firehose file for Redmi Note 7. You may now download it from the below link: Redmi Note 7: prog_emmc_firehose_Sdm660_ddr.mbn

PACK 6: Update on Unbrick Redmi Note 8/9 Series

So it seems it is really getting difficult to get hold of patched files for the newer Redmi Note series, starting from Redmi 8 onwards. As a result, I am looking for an alternate way out. The current problem is with Boot ROM (BROM) that is invoking the Serial Link Authentication or Download Agent Authentication. So I am looking for ways to enable download in the MIUI Preloader (which runs after BROM. As soon as I get hold of any further development on this to unbrick Redmi Note 8 and 9 series, will create a separate guide on this topic. Anyways, I know it’s all messed up and the process that earlier used to take only a couple of minutes seems to be out of reach for everyday users. I appreciate your patience and will keep you updated.

Unbrick Xiaomi/Mi/Redmi Devices without Patched Firehose File

So I have been getting a few requests regarding the Patched Firehose File (prog_emmc_firehose.mbn) or the prog_firehose_ddr_unbrick.elf file for Redmi Note 7, Note 8, Note 9, and the Android One series Mi A1, A2, and A3. Turns out most of the users had their device in a bootloop or soft-bricked. If that is the case with you as well, then you don’t need the patched firehose files. Furthermore, there is no need to use Mi Flash Tool and hence you wouldn’t require Mi Authorized Account as well. You could easily unbrick your device just by using Fastboot Commands. Here are all the required guides corresponding to various Xiaomi/ Mi and Redmi devices that you should definitely check out: (If your device is missing from the below list, do let me know in the comments sections of any of these guides, I will quickly cover it up). (Don’t comment on this article because it has already been saturated with quite a few, I may miss some of your valuable comments).

Bypass SP Flash Tool Authorization | Unbrikc Xiaomi Device

If your Xiaomi, Redmi, or Mi device has the MediaTek as an underlying chipset, then there is a Python-based exploit that deserves your attention. In this, we will be bypassing the DAA and SLA Authorization of the SP Flash Tool. Then your device will be booted to Download Mode and we will then force-flash the firmware. Once the firmware has been flashed using this exploit, your device stands unbricked, without using the Patched Firehose File (prog_emmc_firehose.mbn) file. To try it out, please refer to our detailed guide on Bypass MediaTek SP Flash Tool SLA DAA Authentication. So this was all from this guide regarding Patched Firehose File (prog_emmc_firehose.mbn) for 600+ Android Devices. If you get around any link that is broken or is wrongly attributed to any other device, please do let us know in the comments. Furthermore, if you find your device missing from this list, do let us know. We will add your device’s patched firehose file over to Google Drive and share the link with you. Apart from that, if there are any other queries with respect to any Android issues or bricked device, do let us know in the comments. We will revert with a solution as soon as possible.
